Big!! I'm rubbish at guessing - Wikipedia says "The width of the shell is 30–50 mm and the height of the shell is 30–45 mm There are posters in the carpark warning people not to collect them - I think they are protected - there have been incidents of gangs of Central Europeans being caught collecting them as they are the edible snail/escargot. It didn't help a couple of years ago when the snail rustling was reported in one of the national newspapers and then they finished the article off with a recipe on how to cook them
