Starting with my favourite little bird, the Firecrest. I'm really lucky to have a few residing locally in Wendover woods and this seems to be a really good year for them.

Ha ha, the Firecrest was relatively easy (a 10 minute drive away), the Crested Tit was about a 10 hour drive so I was very grateful to see it.

That's the only problem with Crested Tit...such a huge drive to that part of Scotland!

I've not long returned from a trip to Suffolk where I had my closest ever sightings (and photos) of a Dartford Warbler. Unfortunately I also returned with rather serious stomach pains which has meant I've been rather quiet on the forum but I managed to get a doctor's appointment at short notice and some antibiotics so fingers crossed I'll be participating fully on here again soon.
