Thanks Ann.

I was just wondering of any of the birds had relocated from other areas such as Anglesey or Cornwall.

I've just checked my older photos and I have pics of two ringed birds. In 2006 there's one with a light green ring on right leg and two white rings on left leg, also one with a light green ring on right leg and mauve ring on left leg. I photographed what would appear to be the same bird with the mauve ring again in 2011 (all photos taken at Mwnt).

You can check bird rings through the BTO Euring website. Not sure if you're allowed to post web links, but easily found via BTO website

Went out today for a Swan, came back with an Osprey!

I thought I'd go to a local reservoir today to find a Mute Swan for the Spotting Challenge and spent a magical hour being entertained by an Osprey instead. (Got the Swan too so that's what I call a great result.)

Thank you Julie. I went back again yesterday and the Osprey was still there (I'd also shared my sighting with the local bird club so there were quite a few people there too).
