Thank you John and Jan. Yes I'm keeping my eyes open for Waxwings but I haven't seen any yet this year.

I've been trying to find a Bullfinch for the spotting challenge and I could hear one in a hedgerow but it didn't show itself unfortunately. I couldn't resist snapping this little Robin instead, hopping around in front of me.

Thank you all. I couldn't believe my luck with the Kestrel, I'd parked in a country lane to photograph a Fieldfare and this Kestrel suddenly appeared and started hovering right above me (I hope it wasn't thinking "that's one heck of a mouse" :lol2: ).
