I managed to catch the Goldfinch on the feeder yesterday. I was hidden behind a tree at the time.

These photos were taken looking down on next doors garden.

These Collared doves were there for quite a long time, in fact I was a bit concerned with the one that was sitting down, but she got up and walked away after her little rest, and seemed perfectly OK.

Another Goldfinch, only this time on next doors bird table.

Some lovely photos there Marg, we don't see many different types of bird around here, the most colourful one is the parakeet, it is bright green.

:thanks: for posting and well caught, those small birds nip around quite fast.

When the rain stopped this afternoon, there was a rush for the grub by some stroppy starlings. They are not as clear as they could be, but if I had opened the window they would have all flown off.

Lovely photos Tabatha. :cool4:
As Jan has just said, if you could get some photos of the parakeets that would be great, as I've never seen them outside of cages.

More starlings this morning. They seem to like those cake things and fat balls.

Parakeets would be very difficult to catch, they are usually flying through the air at great speed squawking. The closest view I got, was when I was driving out of my road and two flew across the park. Obviously I was in no position to get a photo. I will keep an eye out, you never know! I don't know where they feed, you don't seem to see them waiting around like the other birds.

Lovely photo, Tabatha. My starlings love the fat balls as well, and they don't half make a racket when they're feeding! :giggle:
