A great photo Tabatha, are they Seagulls?

I often see that formation going over the house as the Seagulls make there way back to and from their roost, but I've never been quick enough with the camera to catch them yet.

I don't think they were seagulls. they seemed to be darker in colour. It was quite difficult to get them, I didn't think I had until I loaded the pictures.

Is it a Pied Wagtail Jan?

You asked me where I got the fat suet ball holder Jan. I got it from 'The Really Wild Bird Food Company'. http://www.streetendfeeds.co.uk/index.php I get all of my bird seed etc from there as I've found them to be the cheapest, and they also grow quite a lot of the seed on their farm. There's free delivery on all seed, but if you were to buy just a feeder they charge delivery. I've put the link up and the feeder is easy to find, as it's in the suet and fatballs section. I've never had any problems with them, apart from that once when the stupid people who were delivering my order, left it at the wrong address. Normally anything that I've ordered has arrived within 2 days.

The Cotoneaster had a lot of visitors early this morning. The usual Blackbirds, and this Mistlethrush. I only managed to catch the front of it before it flew away.

I saw 5 Goldfinches on the lemon balm this morning, but could only manage to get 4 in this photo. Sorry that it's a blurred, it was taken from inside the kitchen window.

This female Blackbird let me get quite close to her this morning, as she was helping herself to some apples that I had put down on the bottom lawn.

:hello1: Tabatha its very hard to see it its a pied wagtail on the gravel it blends in so well i didn't think i had caught it until i looked really hard.

These are a bit blurred as i took them through the window ,a cheeky collared Dove determind to get seed from the feeder ,i think the other one is watching to see how its done. :girlygiggle:

Lovely photos Jan. You have got a lot of bird feeders. I had another look at the photo, I think I could just about make it out. As you say it was camouflaged by the gravel.

:thanks: for posting

Great photos there, Jan. I can understand why the birds love to visit your garden. There is plenty to eat for them. :bird1:
