That is lovely Jean, I used to like hearing the blackbirds first thing in the morning.

:thanks: for posting

This bird was wandering around just before it got dark. I think it was a female blackbird, but it hasn't come out very clear.

Lovely photos Jan, Tabatha and Jean. :cool4:

When I got home today I noticed a lot of Long Tailed Tits were in the bird bath. But by the time I got my camera, only one was left.
Because of rushing to take it, and because it was taken through the kitchen window it's a bit blurred, if only that bit of sun on the left was across the whole of the bird bath.

I am sure they will soon return once you have finished. Starlings do like sitting on tv aerials, they do that a lot around here. It is not uncommon to get about 20 of them waiting to swoop onto next doors feeders.

Lovely pictures Jean i think starlings think aerials are ready made perches.

I managed to get a bit nearer to the Pied Wagtail it blends in so well with the background its hard to get a good picture.

Lovely photos Jean.
The Starlings always seem to be on the aerials don't they. I suppose it's a good advantage point for them all to look out for food.

Lovely photo Jan. I tried to take one of the Pied Wagtail yesterday, as it was just outside my back door, but it didn't stay still long enough. :giggle:
