This little blackbird was foraging around this afternoon, then I threw some bread out and he returned.

Lovely photo of the song thrush Jan.

A lovely photo of the Thrush, Jan.
I was pleasantly surprised to see one down the garden today, pecking away at one of the apples that I'd thrown out.

Lovely photos Tabatha.

Lovely :photo: Dave. The goldfinches are pretty birds. The starling looks quite plump and well fed.

Lovely photos Dave. :cool4:

I had a nice surprise when I drew curtains back yesterday morning. A Heron was sat up on top of the Hawthorn tree that's at the bottom of my garden. There's a lot of Mistletoe at the top of the tree and the heron seemed to be nestled down in it, if that's possible with their long legs. :girlygiggle:

He ducked when he saw this flock of Seagulls coming straight over him. :girlygiggle:

Then a Collared dove joined him.

Then he flew of into the distance, but he kept flying behind trees, which was very inconsiderate of him. :girlygiggle: So he was some way away, before I could get a photo of him, that's why it's a bit grainy.

Thanks for your comments Jan and Di.
I seem to have got into the habit of taking my camera upstairs when I go to bed, and then back down with me in the morning, it seems to be getting a bit addictive. :girlygiggle:
