I'm a bit behind Marg, but that's a brilliant photo of the heron. Fantastic!

I took these photos this morning through my living room window.

These 2 fellas were perched on my neighbour's aerial early this morning. Are these Jackdaws?

All great, but loved the chaffinch in particular.

Did anyone see the quite funny bit on Room 101 the other night where Philip Scofield had rooks as one of his items?

Lovely photo, Jan. I love it when blackbirds do that. They look so cute.

Just been looking at all the photographs, all the different birds. Well done everyone.

I especially liked the one of the heron Marg. I did see one of them once, it was standing on the rooftop and stayed there for quite a while. Probably looking for a likely fishpond.

They were all really good. I very rarely see blue tits nowadays, which is a shame.

Thanks for posting them.

Above is one of the local wood pigeons balancing on the feeding pole. It is quite funny when there are three of them trying to get on there at the same time.

Great photo, Tabatha. The pigeon almost looks ornamental the way he is perched on the feeding pole. :girlygiggle:

:Hi:

What the photograph doesn't show you, is that the pole rocks backwards and forwards. It can be quite comical to watch the bird on top of the pole as it moves to and fro! They don't seem to mind though.
