Nice Picture Tabatha looks like he is having a feast ,is it a wild pigeon or is it ringed?
I had one that came a while back that was ringed so i think it was a racing pigeon feeding up for his journey

I must admit, I did wonder about that, I thought I could see something on his leg. But I can't get close enough to be sure. He has been around for a few weeks now though. He is always on his own as well.

Our next door neighbour found a ringed bird a few years ago. I think someone came to collect it. It had come from somewhere in the Midlands, I think. Not sure how it was caught though.

:( Our sparrows have disappeared! I think our neighbours have blocked them out of their eaves....they havnt got into ours. I dont know where they have gone...... I will ask them, but Keith says I need to be tactful....watch this space..

Great photo of the pigeon Tabatha it definately doesn't look like a wood pigeon more like a feral/town pigeon to me :clap3:

 Daisyjan It's a shame your sparrows have gone  I'm watching the space to see what you find out :giggle:

We bought a terrace a number of years back but they didnt use it, but I think the blue tits are interested.

I spotted a sparrow feeding on the peanuts today and it flew off down the Crescent as opposed to just round past our gate to our neighbours house. I hope they get settled elsewhere if they have been given the push. Our neighbours are thinking of selling up so this could be the reason.

Lovely photo, Tabatha, but I'm not sure if what I'm looking at is a leaf. (You wouldn't think I went to the Optician's yesterday!) :cwl:

Marcus hadn't long come home from school this afternoon when he noticed one of the Blue Tits in the apple tree. I dashed (quietly) outside and managed to get a photo before it flew off.
