I think i can see it Tabatha at the top of the tree but as Di says it could be a leaf, very well hidden.

Di a lovely picture of the Bluetit .

We should all be able to find a picture for the competition this month.

:giggle: Is this a competition Tabatha, as I'm not too sure if I'm identifying a leaf or a bird......is there a prize for getting it right? :chuckle:

A lovely photo of the Blue tit Di, and well done because they don't stay still very long.

When I got up this morning I noticed a thin!!! looking Wood pigeon on my workshop roof. I wondered what the matter was at first, then there was a very low flying Heron that skimmed over the top of the Wood pigeon. It went up into the tree that it usually goes in, so I didn't bother to fetch my camera, but then it took off and landed in my garden, so I ran!! :girlygiggle: downstairs and got my camera. I'm afraid that the photos aren't brilliant as I had to take them through glass.

It landed on the fence that I've got around my little hide-a-way part of the garden. This is right at the bottom of my garden, so a good distance away.

It flew of after this photo.

And landed on a water butt the other side of my workshop. Perhaps it was hoping to find some fish in it. :girlygiggle: Mind you it has a lid on it, so I doubt it. Next door does have a very tiny pond, but it didn't go there. It flew away after I took this, I think it had seen me by this time.

:hello1: Julie, both neighours on either side of me have very!! small ponds, with no fish, so far, they've never landed near to them. I'm beginning to think it's seen the camera, and is a right poser. :giggle:

Brilliant photos Jean well done, because as Dave's already said, Coal tits aren't that easy to take photos of as they're so quick, most of the time.
