The garden has been full of greedy starlings today,i put out 2 large suet blocks yesterday and they have eaten every bit.
Picture of 1 being fed ,the adult seemed to be ignoring the other one it didn't seem able to fly ,i will have to keep my eye on it.

Lovely photos of the wood pigeons Di. At least they weren't fighting. I have seen one that hasn't got a green head, I don't know if that one is a youngster. Lovely photo of the starlings Jan, hope the weaker one is ok. Lovely photo of the blackbird Marg, I always like to hear them singing.

Last Thursday morning I put one of those suet cakes out first thing and it was nearly all gone by lunch time!! The birds all seem to be on a feeding frenzy at the moment.

:thanks: for posting everyone

It seemed strange seeing "garden birds" like sparrows, blackbirds, dunnocks and carrion crows on the beach!!
