Some photos that I took just a while ago.

Collared Dove (sorry if it's a bit blurry)

Sparrow, but I'm not sure if it is a tree one or house one. I always get them mixed up.

This bird decided to take off just as I was taking its picture. Makes a nice silhouette, anyway. :girlygiggle:

Took these photos of a couple of magpies in my garden today. The one's back was really blue.

Was trying to take a photo yesterday of a magpie splashing around in my bird bath. Just as I got my camera ready, he promptly flew off and then this little group suddenly appeared from nowhere, so I snapped them instead! :girlygiggle:

When I was in the garden yesterday enjoying the sunshine, this pigeon was quite near to me on the bird table and didn't even fly off when I got up to get my camera. He obviously wanted his picture taken. :girlygiggle:

:Hi:

You did well there Di, lovely colours on the magpies. We see a lot of them around here, but they don't look quite so blue.

The sparrows obviously enjoyed their bath and the pigeon, well he looks just as if he was posing for you.

Just goes to show, if you are prepared something will turn up.

:thanx: for posting.

I am so happy today. (Doesn't take much!) I finally got a pic of my elusive robin. I hear him singing away most mornings but have never been able to capture him on film until this morning. :YAY: Here he is, perched on my apple tree.

You've taken some lovely photos there Di. Well done on managing to take a photo of 'your' robin, I know that you've been wanting to take one, for some time now. :cool2:
