Great pics, all.

Jan, I did look through my binoculars to see if my unusual pigeon had a ring on, but there was no sign of one. Anyway, I haven't seen it since so it obviously didn't like the food that was on offer. :giggle:

Hi Heather, great photos. I see you have the same problem as me with starlings, being they haven't heard of "one at a time" - or sharing, come to that. They are entertaining though and definitely add to the richness of bird-watching.

:thanks: everyone I really do love them

I am now going to post some really bad photos, the rain was falling, it was nearly dark, it was very windy and the door is filthy

I hope you get the idea

I have no idea why they are going mad today but believe me they were.

It is at times like this you want to say wish you could hear them well guess what

I just hung the camera out the bedroom window it is not a lot to look at but you can see all the hawthorn berries

turn up the volume

:greatpic: and video. The weather did look wild, but it didn't seem to stop the birds from feeding.

:thanks: for posting You do get a variety of different birds in your garden.

:thanks: all

Dave I have them all green, chaff, gold but my biggest thrill is the two pairs of Redpolls and their young.

The young are really hard to spot they are LBJ's but if you watch the parents carefully you can pick them out.

There are bullfinches on the lane and I keep hopeing they hear about my Cafe :bird1:
