Love the photos of the blackbirds HPM, we used to see them a lot in our garden, but I haven't seen any for years. Nice to see them again.

Forget Me Not - quite a congregation there. It is amazing they don't interfere with the tv reception when they all sit on the aerial like that.

:thanx: for posting both of you

This magpie headed for the tree when I tried to get a photo of him. It was a shame, he was quite close to start with.

Nice photo, Tabatha. He obviously didn't want to be 'papped' at the beginning. :girlygiggle:

Lovely photos Tabatha and Fmn.

At the moment there are at least 4 male blackbirds and 1 female blackbird that visit my garden, but they seem to keep chasing one another away at the moment, so I have no chance of taking a photo. :(

Lovely photo of the blackbird Jan. At least you'll be able to identify him when he visits your garden with that white feather.

Unusual that he's got a white feather, Jan. You ought to call him Sweeney Todd after Johnny's Sweeney character with the white streak in his hair. :girlygiggle:

Good photo of the blackbird on the aerial Forget Me not.

Like the blackbird in your garden Jan, that is good if you can identify him again.
You will be able to monitor how often he keeps coming back.

:thanx: for posting

The very shy Coal Tit. It was very hard to catch, because it didn't stay still for very long, so it's not a brilliant photo, but you can just about see what it is.
