Thank you all very much for your lovely comments :thankyou:

Me and Mr G went down to Lymington yesterday and spotted these Spotted Redshank on the far side of one of the lagoons. We saw four I think it was the previous time we went down but only saw the 2 this time.

They draw attention to themselves because they are always splashing about in the water.

Your photos show up the longer, thinner bill than Redshank Grayling which is a good id pointer in the field.

Thanks Mick and Happyhare :cool3:

HH - I didn't see the Goosander - DH said he thought he'd seen a couple, it wasn't until I was going through the photos looking for the Pintail that I saw it :girlygiggle:

That's so funny, I had the same thing with the Teal, didn't realise I'd got it while trying to get a pintail!

I bet that's the same nuthatch we all see Tabatha :giggle:

I did wonder if your Thrush was the same one I was chasing Grayling, it kept hiding in the undergrowth

Thank you Paula, Tabatha and Julie :thankyou:

Yes it was at the Woodland Hide Tabatha and I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same Nuthatch - and more then likely the same Thrush HH :cwl:
