Interesting to see the Goldfinch on the Lavender...I cut mine back :thinking: I'll leave it next year :cool:

It is well worth leaving the dead flowers and seed heads for the birds it is lovely to see the Goldfinches on the Lavender :cool3:

A bird I rarely see and when I do, normally at a distance and I don't think I've seen a female of the species before - Reed Bunting.

Sadly not, these were down at Arundel; they have a woodland area where they have feeders up and that was where they were - the male was scuttling about on the ground and was difficult to get a photo of it.
