:wow: brilliant captures! I love the photos of the blackbird seeing off the Fieldfare especially the first one. Not nice for the Field fare of course! :jealous: with the Redwing, I haven't seen any of those at all.

Love the plump robin

More super photos Grayling :clap3:

Glad to see your Wren has also made it thus far through the cold weather. I was a bit worried about my two as I didn't see them at all while it was snowing for days on end but as soon as it stopped falling they braved the lying snow and reappeared.

Thank you all :thankyou:

Whilst it is quite entertaining to see the antics of "my blackbird" the effect on the other birds is quite noticeable :(

Gill, I have a couple of roosting pouches in the hedge that I keep hoping something (the Wrens) will over winter in but no such luck as yet :(

Dave, the Redwings were very fleeting - I happened to look out, saw them and took a couple of shots checked my camera then looked back and they had gone :( but very pleased to have seen them

There has been one little Wren active in my garden, these are photos from Monday 4th February.

I first spotted one on the roosting pouches, not sure if they are likely to nest inside though, probably just looking for insects.

I put out some live mealworms, mainly with the Robin in mind but the Wren took an interest

Here are a few of the Goldcrest I spotted in the garden yesterday afternoon. I have seen them flitting about the hedge before but never managed to get a proper attempt at a shot before
