Jan, I've not noticed them going in before but I've not given up hope :grin: I used to put Jessie's hair in them in the Spring for the nesting birds which was always taken. :cool:

Went down to Keyhaven today; lots of waders about (photos to follow) but spotted a pair of Stonechats in the gorse at the start of the walk.

Here is the female - couldn't get too close and she flew off before I could get a better shot.

I think that is the best shot I've ever got of the male Stonechat - the females seem to be much shyer.

Lots of Curlew down at Keyhaven today - the weather is supposed to be turning bad I wonder if they know :paul:

Here is a Black-headed Gull with a Curlew poking about in the seaweed
