spent an enjoyable afternoon at balgavies watching the ospreys, i really am lucky having these on my doorstep. eggs have hatched and two chicks in nest. you can make one out on first photo.

thats a bit extreme peppi, where i sit on the banking it can only be a few hundred yards from the island with the nest, right beside the trail that goes right around the loch and the ospreys never get alarmed. they sometimes fly over for a nosey i think lol.
