thanks peppi, i was lucky as it didnt stay still for long, i got 3 pics of it tbut other two were a bit blurry as it was always on the move

Great photos Mick.Thats quite a few fieldfares:)
We saw about 30 at Caelaverock a couple of weeks ago but have seen none since coming back to Lincolnshire.
Nice capture of the goldcrest too.:)

there magpies across the river in fife and further north in stonehaven upwards but for some reason the regions in between, tayside and angus have hardly any at all, in fact it was just this year i and a lot of people have seen one in our own area. one belief is persecution from gamekeepers which could be true as there seems no reason why they shouldnt reside here?
