There were at least four House Sparrow fledglings on the garden today, that is the fourth brood i can count seeing so far this year from our resident sparrow population.

Not the best photo but here's our little baby Sparrow......surprised to see only one :( although I've been hearing some heartbreaking stories about lots of dead baby Starlings being thrown out of nests and a distinct lack of Swallows and Owls at the RSPBs Hope Farm :( Apparently because of a lack of food

It would explain my lack of Moths :thinking:

Anyway here's our baby :wub:

Now that's a thing...last year I saw lots of dead baby birds on my patio and couldn't think why they were there. Now I'm beginning to wonder if they were ones that died through lack of food and the parents chucked them out :paul:
