i'm really bummed by the lack of fledglings at mine .i've seen Sparrows , Starlings,Jackdaws , Magpies and Rooks but no Robins , Tits and especially Blackbirds :rolleys: the summer has been terrible but i still think those Magpies have a lot to do with it :nope:

Don't know what's different about today but they're queuing up to go on my feeder! I counted 8 or 9 at one point.

early this morning i had a very pleasant surprise :nod: there was a male Blackbird feeding two very well developed fledglings ...the first I've seen for years :happy2:

I even spotted what at first looked like a scruffy , moulting adult Robin... it too turned out to be a fledgling :Woo: ...those Magpies have not wiped them all out after all :yep:
