Lovely shots folks. I must try to get one of my little fledgling robin. I have noticed that every year after the parents have probably finished nesting, the fledgling tend to take over their territory and I don't see the adults any more. No sign at all for weeks. This fledgling who has still got his spotted body and half an appearance of a redbreast knows exactly where to come for his insect pellets. And shouts most mornings for them. Where do they go the two parents? Would love to know. :paul:

Hi Helen

I think the parents go off to have a rest and get themselves back into shape ready for the Autumn, they always seem to disappear looking very tatty and reappear all gorgeous again

Thanks Paula, I guess that must be true as the blackbirds are the same. Not that I've been lucky enough this year to see many fledgling blackbirds although I know the adults have been feeding them and have now disappeared. :continue:
