This Eider is not a particularly great pic
Posted Image

but for me it represented a milestone,a few years ago I bought my first DSLR and started on a new hobby of wildlfe photography ( especially birds) with somewhat mixed results ! I decided early on to attempt to try and take pics of as many different species as possible ,having to look after someone meant that I couldn't spend as much time as I would like to and certainly couldn't travel too far !
Anyway I was stuck on species number 199 for ages and finally got the Eider at Dungeness last year ,making it 200 at last ! I'm up to about 202 now .it's been fun and got me out and about and I've also made new friends ! some pics are nothing more than record shots to be improved upon ,like this Corn Bunting
Posted Image, others such as the Peregrine

[ I'm quite pleased with ! It's getting harder all the time to increase the list but I'll keep trying !
thanks for reading

Amazing shots these latest ones...

Love the swans with their heads together and touching - they looks so tender and caring.

The barn owl coming in to land is amazing and is that last one a Merlin? Amazing! Thanks for sharing.
