Lots of Rooks where I am and they are flying about with large twigs in their mouths. I saw one today snapping big pieces off a tree! :bird1:

A pair of Bluetits started checking out one of my nestboxes yesterday, one spent a long time inside tapping about, sounded just like a little hammer going, not the box with the camera in sadly but still good to see them taking an interest.

A Blackbird has started building a nest in the Pyracantha,i have had one build there most years but with pruning it back at the begining of the year when we replaced the broken fence i thought it might have put them off.

A Dunnock has been in and out of the ivy this afternoon but no sign of any nest building material being carried.
