Long-tailed Tits are collecting small feathers
Corvids (either Jackdaws or Carrion Crows - too far away to tell) are collecting twigs
Red Kites are collecting twigs

I have put out fresh nesting wool for the assorted Tits. They are ignoring it. I think they prefer it when it has been rained on, snowed on, and generally looks as though it has been worn by a sheep for at least three years :lol2:

I think the blackbird in my Pyracantha has laid eggs ,it is sitting on the nest now.
Its very well hidden ,you might just about to be able to find it in this photo

Not very clear as i took them through the window.I just missed the one with lots of nesting
material :doh: but they always use the same trees so im sure i will get some.

Great sightings Jean :cool3: We have Starlings nest in our roof every year and I noticed they were doing housework the other day removing old stuff from the nest ready for Spring :cool:

Not brilliant photos as they were taken through the window in the rain :giggle: .... But Mrs Blackbird who we have now name Gerty has been busy all of this week building a nest in the ivy :grin:
