I'm going to start my own thread off with my bird captures of 2011.Having received my new camera on monday i am hoping that the 14 mega pixel upgrade will improve my images considerably....heres hoping!

Starting off with a few birds from in Jan's garden on tuesday....

The camera Gill is a Panasonic Lumix FZ45 and so far i am very happy with the results.I have tried a few macro images and once i had sorted the correct setting out this function also provides very good results.

Would you believe Marg that the Song thrush was taken through a window and i was very surprised at the result.The Pied wagtail was taken outside but considering the awful gloomy conditions i was again quite surprised at how clear the image was....just waiting for a decent day now to really put the camera throught it's paces!
