Arguably one of our rarest breeding birds is the enigmatic Chough. With it's characteristic corvid glossy sheen allied with a unique curved red bill the Chough is a unmistakable species and is the star bird of the RSPB's South Stack reserve on Anglesey.

The photos are not great but it was a case of quick snapshots before it disappeared! good job as well because it was the only individual that came close enough for any photos.
