That camera is a step up from mine Dave....maybe a couple of steps :girlygiggle:

I've got the FZ38 but that's only got 18x zoom, whereas your new camera's got (I think) 24 x zoom.

I think Gill's just bought that camera Dave, but I'm not 100% sure.
I remember because I was very tempted when she talked about the last camera she bought............am I right Gill?

 Marg, my first Lumix was the FZ38, which I still have, but the newer I bought when I finally kissed goodbye to the Pentax DSLR was the FZ100.

:hello1: Gill, well I was close. :girlygiggle:
I just googled and see that both the cameras (Dave and yours) came out at roughly the same time.
So it will be interesting to see how they compare.

There were at least fifteen of these Goldfinch feeding in Jan's Alder tree but only a couple were obliging enough to pose for the camera.

:wow2: brilliant photos Dave. :clap3:

I think that last photo is brilliant too.

I remember Jan getting loads of the Goldfinches in that tree last year.

I'm sooo tempted to get one of those trees, but I don't think it would do well in my sandy soil as I think!! they need water retentive soil?

I didn't know that there were different types of them, thanks for letting me know Jan.

I'll have to google that one and see if it could grow in my garden.
