The images of the Barn owl are pretty poor really...taken in half twilight etc but we were both just so pleased to have managed anything of them at all.

Those are really good. I usually think of the female pheasant as nothing much to look at but your photo makes it look quite beautiful! The second egret one is beautifully composed, and the barn owl ones are really nice to see as you don't get to photograph them very often! My husband and daughter 'surprised' one as they went exploring into a barn and it came flying out at them and away, spraying poo everywhere in fright!
