I like it that you've photographed pigeons as I get 'funny' when people say they are vermin - they probably are, but the thought of it stops people from seeing how beautiful they are! I'm planning a painting of a few pigeons standing on paving slabs (with the perspective of the lines between the slabs), with the sun shining on them and the shadows on the slabs. I don't have any reference photos to work from yet though. (Got too many paintings in my head and not enough time as well.) Sorry for waffling on your thread!

Thanks everyone.

Pigeons and Doves are fantastic birds to photograph Frogea and they are such obliging subjects. I also find that many of our feral/town birds have a remarkable array of plumage colouration.
