I know this was taken in an enclosure but i just love the patterns and colouration on this gorgeous pheasant species.

It is a native of China Jan and was introduced to Europe during the early 1800's.

We were treated to an unusual visitor to the wildlife centre bird tables at Carsington recently in the shape of this very pristine looking Marsh Tit.
