On my walk in the fens yesterday :dog1: I managed to get a couple of shots of a Cuckoo :woo: , so pleased to get these but to my surprise there were three of them flying about together and hearing them cuckooing as they flew. They seemed to love the willow trees, two flew away from my view but this one settled in one of the trees, I've enlarged the pic so you can get a better look ... :YAY:

Thanks guys. Just could not believe my luck when I saw these, it really made my day. :dancing: I've registered with the BTO this morning and added details of the cuckoo's on there for their bird track records, do you think I need to email them about the sightings aswell?

Well done Bluebell, a great sighting and photo.

We've been very lucky down here too and have had two males and one female cuckoo at one of our local reserves since last month, and at least two are still there.
