Great photos everyone. Nice capture of the Little Egret Carl.

I got this today by accident while trying to get a shot of a Water Pipit.... The light was dreadful and the so only managed a rather blurred photo of the initial liftoff, but I thought it looked rather effective like that.

And here's the one that got away! lol
Whilst stalking the deer on Sunday through the snow I almost stepped on this male pheasant hiding in the undergrowth. It immediately took flight and I tried to get a quick shot. Unfortunately not only was my camera on completely the wrong settings to capture a bird in flight but I completely missed the focus too! Doh! It's a good job you don't get to see all the bad shots that I take.
