Thanks everyone.

It was taken at Holme marsh in Norfolk Jen. We were watching two Barn owls when suddenly this Short-eared Owl appeared in the same field. We also saw Tawny and Little owl on our way back to the caravan so four owl species in one night wasn't bad at all.

Yep, we were just short of Long-eared Owl and there is a site i know of but not close enough to do all five at once...that would have been plain greedy anyway :lol:

:wow: raptors are certainly stunning birds .... so graceful when flying but a bit ungainly on the ground : ) I suppose thats the same with all birds ... super photo , Dave
