Seen such a thing in Morocco and this Short-toed Eagle looked like it had taken a large agamidae, possibly Bibron's Agama.

I took these ones up the fen there not brilliant but you can see what they are, the first one being as cormorant and the other two a buzzard I think but for first attempts of capturing them on camera I dont think they came out to bad ...

lol... I know what you mean celticsparrow-jan, most of mine are normally sky only and bird just gone from camera view so as you can imagine I was well pleased when these ones came out. Thanks all for you comments :flower:

i posted earlier about sitting in the back garden with my laptop .. after having my supper i turned and spotted an eruption of flying ants from beneath the slabs ..Posted Image
only minutes later ,the sky was full of gulls feeding on the ants above...thankfully , i made it through unscathed :ha:

Thanks forget me not :) I'm not a great fan of ants so i'm glad the gulls decided to sort them out. Great photo's of them though sensiblenamejohn :)

Lovely photos John and the little bluetit is great. Took this one yesterday of the buzzard again, he seems to have his main spot on the telegraph lines (i think thats what they are) where he perches but we have seen 3 altogether in this perticular area.
