Dave , there is a high note every now and again on the geese which fly over here . i can hear it on the RSPB site for the Greylag .

I then listened to the Pink-footed recording which also has a high pitched sound :think: I'll ID them one day :)

Dave , i went to a meeting on Monday night which included a slide show of birds , butterflies and dolphins . The chap was very knowledgeable but when the photo of flying geese was on the screen , he just described them as geese :)

That's a lovely shot of the spoonbill :cool3:
