I think that any study that points towards badger vaccination being the way forward to eradicate bovine TB fro carriers such as badger and deer etc , has to be applauded and explored further.

Very upset today when I read in the paper that The Monarch Stag of the New Forest had been killed. Just like last year or the year before when the Emperor Stag was missing. The poachers have been at it again and this time they wounded the Monarch in the head, who then ran into the water and drowned. I was so upset. What a beautiful animal. His face was on the tourists memorabilia and he was very famous and often seen in the area on the tours. 16 antlers and about 15 years old I think. The poachers didn't manage to retrieve the stag for themselves and its body was given to the farmer who will look after the antlers for remembrance. I hope that they catch the poachers and put them in jail for a very long time. An unnecessary, pointless and sad death.

Just wanted to share this as it was on my mind all day. Rest in peace dear Monarch stag. :butterfly3:

We watched the live debate in the commons Danny and we didn't expect such an overwhelming result in favour...just shows you doesn't it and maybe they should have taken the scientific advice on board in the first place.

Something that many have been saying for years Danny, and well before any badger cull was proposed.
