Princess Anne needs to read the truth about the effects of culling badgers before she starts spouting off about the use of gas.

Great news regarding the increase of the Caledonian pine forest Danny, this should help no end with breeding species such as Capercaillie and Crested Tit.

Another excellent bit of news regarding the new RAMSAR site around the Wirral estuary. There are many superb reserves on the stretch of coastline Danny, including Burton Marsh, Parkgate, Gayton Sands and others, hopefully this will provide even greater protection for the many waders and water birds that rely on such habitats there.

That's a great release programme Danny and hopefully stocks of the native white-clawed will increase and the non-native American crayfish ousted to the point where it won't cause any more problems.

It certainly causes many bird watchers lots of headaches when it comes to trying to identify escaped wildfowl from naturally occurring birds

The Scottish Government have known the gravity of the situation for quite some time now and it's about time they acted.

Thanks for the links Danny.
