Certainly is Paula and makes you very wary of wading through long grasses where livestock and deer and predominant. It's going to have to be a case of wearing long trousers tucked into socks and also long-sleeved shirts worn when wandering through tick-infested sites, or possibly any site for that matter.

Let's just hope the end of January report continues to confirm, and indeed strengthen the evidence, that neonicotinoid pesticides definitely have a harmful effect on the brains of bees.

Thanks for the link Dave!

Totally agree, Dizzy.

Awful to see the Killer Whale, John...such a shocking end to a magnificent beast.

Really good news about the Little Auks though and hopefully they will all be released safe and well. I did actually see a news article about someone that found one of these Auks wandering around his allotment!

I saw that John :( it seems that now Lulu has died the remaining members of the pod might be the last .. they think there's little to no chance of the pod making up their numbers :( So many times these lines are to blame :notfair:

Poor Little Auks being blown off course ... i think some have succumbed but happy news for the majority :cool4:
