Not sure about this white rubbery encrusting/bracket type. Possibly Byssomerulius corium ?![]() ![]() And maybe Hyphodontia sambuci for this one ?

These were taken at Shakerley Mere near the end of September. No. 1- these were very yellow looking when I first saw them through the trees but the camera does not seem to have picked up the colour very well. ![]() ![]() No. 2 ![]() ![]() No. 3 ![]() ![]() No. 4 - Sorry not a brilliant photo but is this blushing bracket ![]() |

Hi Hazel. 1. Collybia type, might be Clustered Toughshank 2. Tricky with it being in stages of decay but likely to be an Armillaria type (Honey Fungus) 3. Lactarius quietus - Oak Milkcap 4. Agree with Blushing Bracket. |

OK Dave. If I get chance to visit some suitable sites I will see if I can find some more oddities. I did have another one a couple of days ago but after rethinking that one I'm now sure it was a group of Lycoperdon perlatum at an early stage. |

Some more fungi for id please. The first three were seen in Tatton Park in the middle of October. No. 1 ![]() ![]() No. 2 ![]() ![]() No. 3 ![]() No. 4 - is another one I found at Shakerley Mere and I thought it might be oysterling. ![]() No. 5 - spotted in Ness Gardens this week. Thanks for those id's Dave. No. 1 - Is this one white waxcap? ![]() ![]() No. 2 - we had a lot of this growing in the mown grass in our garden, is it orange navel cap, the disc is a 5p piece to give the size and it was very orange in colour though the camera has not picked the colour up very well. ![]() ![]() No. 3 - is this hoof fungus or just a ganaderma? ![]() |
