 Paula,

1 Piptoporus betulinus - Brch Polypore

2 Have you a photo of the upper surface Paula.
Without seeing the upper surface I can't tell if it is Gannoderma lipsiense or Fomes fomentarus

3. I need to know the following to id this one.
a. what it is growing on
b. size, from side to side from back to front and how thick.
c. a closeup of the underside showing the pores.

4, Not enough info  I do need to see the underside. (use a mirror on the ground underneath it and take a shot of the reflectionn i the mirror ) However I would guess (and guessing can be a very dangerous thing where fungi are concerned that it is probably one of the Birch Boletes.

Does anyone know what this is. It is growing amongst some plants in the flowerbed. There was some inkcap fungi on the grass nearby last year, this could be the same.

Posted Image

This one was growing near some trees.

Posted Image

This one is on the grass. (Might be the same as the first one).

An id info would be welcome. :thanks:

Tabatha, I am sure the first is ink caps, second possibly wood bewit and the last one not sure, either ink cap or magpie parasol.

Can someone give me an ID on this; Ink cap or shaggy parasol? Hopefully the latter for the Autumn challenge....
