LarryPhoto 1 could be Coprinus or Mycena genus...will have to look further Photo 2 looks like a Lycoperdon of some kind. |

Larry, your first one is definitely not a Common Field Mushroom but without more detail I cant say what it is. It is necessary to have a view of the stem and underside to give a positive id. but at first glance it looks like one of the Cortinarius species. |

Stu, nice finds 1 Helvella sp. (not enough forpositiveid as Dave says) 2 Clavulinopsis sp. What was it growing on Stu, and where? |

Hi Judy, the yellow fungi was growing on a piece of tree stump in a woods alongside a fast flowing river and waterfall.The whole area was covered in loads of moss too. |
