Stu. First pic in post 540 may be a Birch bracket. What a lot of gooey fungi

Last one is a very young Trametes sp. not sure which but probably T. versicolour Happyhare is correct on the Birch Polypore The first one looks like Tramella mesenterica - Yellow Brain Fungus |

Judy..Its just about to die back,i only spotted it while i was cleaning around the shed,so like David said it was past its best.I will keep an eye open in that area now as their was a lot, and this was the best one.. |

Ok Jean, there are a lot of fungi fruiting at the moment that normally show in Autumn. the warm start then a cold wet spell ( as if it was summer then moved into autumn) is what triggers them to fruit. We are eating the giant Agaricus macrosporus at the moment which normally shows in September So it is very difficult to say what yours might be ![]() |
