Daveis this one a Clavulinopsis fungi. I'm a little confused I think it's maybe Clavulina rugosa? There was lots of it under conifer trees in deep leaf litter.They were quite big compared to candle snuff. |

Agreed on Clavulina rugosa Andy and a lovely fungi to see. The first one in post 702 is possibly a Laccaria type which has just an inverted cap (as fungi grow older the caps tend to fold inwards exposing the gill system) I'll take a look at the last one but it may be an Ascobobus or Peziza type. |

They are very interesting photos Happyhare. It could possibly be a number of species, Clitocybe being one possible and even Hygrocybe being another, but i doubt i will be able to id them. One good pointer however is that they are obviously growing close to (or under) Beech. |
