Hi Mick I would agree with decaying Fly agaric for number 1. The other 2 are Boletes. It would depend on what substrate they were growing on and what trees/shrubs were in the vicinity for a probable id. Nice finds. |

Hi Hazel. 1 & 2. Chicken Of The Woods 3 & 4. Russula sp 5. Would need to see the gills and stem to be sure Hazel. 6. Polypore (Bracket fungi). I'll check an id for you Hazel. 7. Agreed on King Alfred's Cakes. Great set of fungi Hazel. |

Hi Mick. The bottom one of your photos does have characteristics of Larch Bolete but i can't give it as a definite id, unless there was Larch in the area? |

hi dave saw these on my walk this morning is this russula sp? ![]() saw this growing on side of tree, what looked like bits of it that had broken off were lying below ![]() this is a bit battered looking ![]() these are all the same i think, was intrigued the way they burst out of the bark ![]() ![]() ![]()

Hi Mick I would say the last four photos (definitely the last two) are of Piptoporus betulinus (Birch Polypore). The first is definitely a Russula type and it looks like a beech leaf is close by so this would narrow down the possibilities. Not sire on the other two as yet. |
