lovely pictures of the jelly ear Jean ,i have never seen those before.Well done Cazza with the id.Not sure what the others are either Jean they look like a cross between a rotten apple and a chestnut I am sure someone will know what they are ,nice pictures.

Great photos Jan,it looks like Birch Mazegill to me which is relatively common in woodlands and parks and is a lovely looking fungi.

I spotted this fungi when Julie and I were out on our walk on Sunday, it was on a fallen branch. I thought that it was a fossilized dog poo at first Julie looked it up for me, and we think it's... daldinia concentrica (King Alfred's cakes)![]() it looks a bit like a very plump caterpillar, that's got it's head down and gone to sleep.
