The pinkish coloured one in photo 4 Hazel could be Mycena rosea but they usually grow under a beech tree rather than on actual tree.

Hi Jen.

This is what i have so far:

174/177 - Parasola conopilus
196/197 - Tentatively agree with but there are a few other possibles, certainly in the right area though Jen.
249/250/252 - Armillaria mellea
273/274/275/276 - Hygrocybe ceracea (Butter Waxcap)

wow ! ... thanks Dave .... i'll check those out

I expect we already have them on the Photo Challenge . I should have a look through there as well .. it's as good as any book for an ID a lot of the time

I think they are Jen but a couple of the ones i haven't identified yet might be able to go on, especially the little cup fungi.

okey dokey , Dave  is that the one i thought was a jelly thing ? I've been looking through the book again and i think it must be one of those little dishes / cups as you say . There's a section Flask & Cup Fungi where the Bulgaria inquinans is .. it looks like one from that section but i can't see which one .

I see now that the butter waxcap you ID is not as i thought , a yellow field cap . I'm hoping it'll count as .. any yellow waxcap .. it is .. yellow :bag:

:thankyou2:

It would certainly count for any yellow waxcap Jen :cool2:

Number 278 Jen is Handkea utriformis or sometimes called Mosaic Puffball. It can also go on the fungi challenge as well.

Hi Jen

238/240 are a Polyporaceae/Fomitopsidaceae type but i think i would need a close up of the tubes on the underside to be sure.
