strange isn't it Dave .. to me it wasn't quite like any in the black book . I see the one you mention but the older specimens were ragged but not as their photos .. but as you say probably older specimens . I've only put these here so that i could have a better look . They almost have a little skirt around the edge with some sort of marking I'm finding all these cream/brown varieties quite confusing All very interesting though

They can drive you nuts sometimes Jen....especially when they are either young fungi or old fungi, they can look completely different from mature specimens. |
